EFT Coaching

Gentle tapping techniques to ease stress and emotional blocks.

What is it?

EFT is a trauma healing technique based on acupressure. Painful memories are briefly evoked and then neutralized, so that the emotional “charge” disappears. We cannot change what happened in the past, but we can transform our feelings about it today.

Unprocessed stressful memories and traumas often underlie emotional and physical complaints. EFT helps release those emotions, making you feel lighter and reducing physical tension.

EFT is not talk therapy, but works directly with the body and the feeling that could not be fully processed at the time. This is important because in our culture emotions such as sadness, anger or fear are often suppressed.

The founder of EFT is Gary Craig.

What happens during an EFT session?

During an EFT session, we gently tap the fingertips on specific meridian points as you recall a memory and feel what you experienced at the time. Ticking helps to let go of the stored emotions faster.

It is normal for emotions to arise during the session, such as sadness, anger, fear, feelings of guilt or shame. The difference with just feeling is that we now calm these emotions and invite you to let go completely, so that you don't get stuck in them.

After a session, you can feel relieved, energetic and lighter — as if a package has been removed from your backpack. Sometimes you feel tired or notice temporary physical reactions such as headaches or flu-like symptoms. These are normal healing symptoms. If certain complaints persist, it may mean that there are still unprocessed traumas that need further attention.

EFT helps you step by step to release emotional ballast and create more space for peace, energy and balance.
